Sumei Chew is a versatile painter and she paints in watercolour, acrylic as well as oil. With her keen observations of life, nature and its surroundings; her works often has certain vibrancy and feel of hyper reality. Using bold splashes of color, Sumei successfully convey the energetic pulse and underlying aura of life in tropical Singapore.

Her wide repertoire covers abstract art, landscapes, botanical works, figure drawing, people and animal portraits. She offers both private commissions and tuition to individuals or small groups.
