Florence Foo has been a member of Singapore Watercolour Society since 2011 and life member of Singapore Art Society, Chinese Artists' society, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Alumni. She started learning watercolour painting, portrait sketching from local and overseas teachers at Community Centres, NAFA, UK and Ireland after recovery from cancer.
She has been participating in exhibitions held by the abovementioned organizations including virtual exhibitions like Save the animals. Besides donating her works to charitable organizations, she completed an painting of an orchid named after D'holy cross Church and it was auctioned for charity at $7,000.
Having had, a second episode of cancer and stroke, she is grateful to survive and hopes to continue painting and help charity.
